Lock and register your bikes!
Theft happens at home, at school and around town. It can't be prevented completely but you can minimize the chances by always locking up your bike, even in the bike cage at Mission Hill. And for recovery of your bike should it go missing, you should get it registered. For more information on registering a bike (free in Santa Cruz), using a bike lockers in the downtown area, bike trail maps, or bike safety, visit this website: http://www.sccrtc.org/services/bike/

Order your 2013-2014 yearbook now. Only $30 for great memories! Go to http://www.balfour.com and type in "Mission Hill MIddle School" or come to the office to place an order. If you would like to add a dedication you need to come to the office with payment - cash or check. Deadline for dedications is March 27.
8th Graders: Add your photos and baby pictures to the Yearbook!! You can upload a photo via the website or bring in a hard copy. Cost for upload is $10 for 1/2 page and a hard copy is $15. To upload photos to be considered for publication in the yearbook, go to http://images.balfour.com. You will need a project number. Contact the yearbook advisor, Jenny Robles-Vasquez, for this number. March 27 is the deadline for baby picture submissions.
Many ways to help MHMS
Sure the PTA will take your money but that is not the only way to give back to Mission Hill. Time is just as valuable and there are many ways the school can use your help. From setting up tables, cutting flowers for decorations during the awards ceremony, picking up food, cleaning up the garden. There are committees for dances and graduation, teacher projects, lunch time help, library help. For more information on how you can help contact the PTA.
8Th grade dance - June 6
Help make the last school dance for the 8th graders a fabulous success. Please use the donate button to donate. Whatever you can do, $5 or more, to add to our budget will help make the dance a really fun and memorable event!
